Well now, I gotta tell ya, that episode four of The Innocent sure did stir things up somethin’ fierce! You wouldn’t believe the twists and turns in that show, no sir! If you’ve been watchin’ it, then you know by the end of that episode, things ain’t lookin’ so good for poor Rusty. Ain’t nobody can say for sure who killed Carolyn Polhemus yet, but boy oh boy, Rusty sure is in deep, deeper than that ol’ well we got out back, and that’s pretty deep, lemme tell ya!
So, at the start of episode four, things ain’t exactly goin’ Rusty’s way. You see, they found some DNA evidence on Carolyn’s nails, and wouldn’t you know it, it matches Rusty’s. That’s a real sticky situation to be in, y’all! When that kinda thing comes out, well, folks start to point fingers. Ain’t nobody gonna look at Rusty and think he’s innocent after that, not unless he can pull somethin’ real tricky outta his hat.
But, things don’t end there. No, no, no. Rusty ends up in another big mess—this time with Brian Ratzer. Now, Brian, he’s another fella that mighta had somethin’ to do with Carolyn’s death. They found his… well, his evidence at the crime scene, if you know what I mean. Rusty, he don’t take too kindly to that and, well, he gives Brian a good ol’ beatin’. You know, when the pressure gets too high, sometimes a man don’t know what else to do. I reckon that’s what happened here.
Now, as for that Michael Caldwell fella—he’s been makin’ some appearances in this story too, though he don’t seem to be as deep in the muck as Rusty is. Michael’s just a character, y’see, part of the mess of this whole story. His role is still a bit unclear, but I got a feelin’ that he’s gonna have more to do with things as we go on. Who knows, right? They always keep ya guessin’ in these mystery shows.
And lemme tell ya, this episode is like the halfway point of the show. You’d think they’d slow down, but no! Things just keep gettin’ more tangled up. They start diggin’ into a fella named Ibai Saez. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’ve been waitin’ to hear more about him. Turns out, he’s got a bit of a connection to the whole mess that’s been goin’ on, and they start to spill the beans on him. It’s like tryin’ to untangle a big ol’ knot, but each time ya think you got it, somethin’ else shows up to confuse ya!
One thing about this episode though, it really shows how low Rusty’s gotten. He ain’t the same fella he was before all this started. And who can blame him? The more they dig, the worse it looks for him. But that don’t mean he’s outta options just yet. There’s still time for him to figure somethin’ out and clear his name, though I sure wouldn’t wanna be in his shoes right about now.
So, that’s where we’re at. The episode ends with folks wonderin’ if Rusty can make it out of this mess, or if he’s gonna go down for a crime he might not’ve committed. There’s a lotta questions still hangin’ in the air, and you just gotta keep watchin’ to see how it all turns out. It’s a real nail-biter, that’s for sure.
In case you’re lookin’ to watch it, you can catch The Innocent on Netflix. Just be warned, it’ll keep ya up late at night, tryin’ to figure out who done what to who. And trust me, you won’t have all the answers by the end of episode four either. But that’s the fun of it, right? Always a mystery to solve.
