Alright, so you’re lookin’ for movies like that “The Dictator” one, huh? That one with the funny fella, always causin’ a ruckus. Well, lemme tell ya, there’s a whole bunch of ’em out there, some old, some new, all kinda silly in their own way.
First off, there’s this movie, “The Great Dictator”. Now, this ain’t no newfangled thing, it’s from way back when, black and white and all. But it’s got this fella, Charlie Chaplin, and he looks just like this mean dictator, Hitler or somethin’. It’s funny, real funny, even though it’s old. He does all sorts of silly stuff, makin’ fun of that dictator guy. You know, the one with the funny mustache. Heard it was Chaplin’s first talkin’ movie, can you believe it? Folks back then must’ve been amazed.
Then there’s this other one, “Dr. Strangelove”. Now, this one’s a bit… different. It’s about bombs and war and all that, but it’s funny too, in a weird kinda way. They say it’s by some fella named Kubrick. Don’t know him, but he sure made a strange movie. People ridin’ bombs like cowboys, it’s crazy! But it makes ya think, ya know? About how silly those fellas in charge can be, always fightin’ and fussin’.
And get this, there’s a whole heap of others! Someone told me there’s like, 65 movies or somethin’ that are kinda like “The Dictator”. Can ya believe it? 65! That’s more movies than I got chickens, and I got a whole lot of chickens!
- Some are on that “Netflix” thing the kids are always yappin’ about.
- Others are on “Amazon”, where you buy all sorts of stuff, I hear.
- And some, well, you gotta go lookin’ for ’em, like hidin’ eggs in the henhouse.
There’s this one called “Moon Over Parador”. Now, this one’s got a fella who pretends to be a dictator, a dead one at that! Can ya imagine? Pretendin’ to be dead! Sounds like somethin’ my old man would do to get out of workin’ in the fields. Anyway, this movie’s got lots of laughs, they say. And some fella dressin’ up like a lady, playin’ the dictator’s mama. Sounds like a real hoot!
And speaking of dictators, there’s this movie, the new “The Dictator”, the one with that fella, Sacha Baron Cohen. He’s a wild one, that fella. Always causin’ trouble and makin’ people laugh. This movie, it’s… well, it’s somethin’ else. He plays a dictator from some made-up country, and he goes to America and causes all sorts of chaos. It’s not for the faint of heart, let me tell ya. But if you like that kinda humor, well, you’ll probably like this one.
You know, it’s funny how many movies they make about dictators. You’d think folks would be tired of ’em by now. But I guess people like to laugh, even at the bad guys. And sometimes, laughin’ is the best way to deal with ’em. Just like when that rooster keeps crowin’ at 3 in the mornin’, you just gotta laugh, or you’ll go crazy.
So, there you have it. A few movies like “The Dictator”. Go watch ’em, have a laugh, and don’t take things too seriously. Life’s too short to be fussin’ and frettin’ all the time. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go feed them chickens. They’re probably squawkin’ up a storm, wantin’ their dinner. Those birds are more demanding than a whole army of dictators, I swear.
And remember, there’s always more movies out there. Just gotta poke around a bit, like lookin’ for the best tomatoes in the garden. You never know what you’ll find. Maybe you’ll even find one that’s better than “The Dictator”! But don’t tell anyone I said that, ya hear?
Oh, and one last thing. Someone told me that that “The Dictator” movie, the new one, was kinda sorta based on a book by some fella from Iraq. Saddam somethin’ or other. Can ya believe it? A dictator writin’ a book! What’ll they think of next? Probably a book about chickens writin’ about dictators. Now that would be somethin’!
