First Step Was Pure Confusion
Hopped straight into MyCareer thinking maybe I could buy it from that little shopping cart icon near the practice facility. Nope. Nothing there except generic ankle braces and crap. Clicked everything – store, inventory, even checked MyPLAYER appearance settings like an idiot. Totally blanked.
Started playing games normally. Dropped like 10 games trying to level up, figured rewards might drop after games. Just got trash like Gatorade boosts or common arm sleeves. Felt like wasting time. Frustrating as heck.
Stumbled On The Grind Spot
Turns out, completely missed the endorsement deals. Went to “Options” then “Endorsements” from the MyCareer menu. Spotted Adidas – thought it was just shoes. Scrolled right through and boom, Doran’s equipment was buried way down the list. Requirements were stupid high though: needed teammate grade “A-” in like 5 straight games. Ugh.
- Tactic 1: Spammed the first game on Rookie difficulty. Easy “A-” but the deal didn’t count it? Turns out needs to be consecutive games in regular season. Exhibition friendlies? Useless.
- Tactic 2: Raged. Played three legit games, got two “A” games but flubbed the third with a “B+”. Reset the counter. Felt like throwing my controller.
The “Fast” Way That Kinda Worked
Reset my whole approach. Focused purely on assists and screens. Played like a pure point guard:
- Passed immediately every possession. Like instantly.
- Set high picks non-stop, even when my guy didn’t need it.
- Never shot unless wide open dunk (rare).
Played four 5-minute quarters per game on Pro difficulty. Boring as watching paint dry. Just passed-passed-passed. Ended every game by simming out once I hit “A-” early in 4th quarter. Did it 5 times back-to-back. Took under an hour total.
Finally Got It
Went back to endorsements tab right after the 5th game. Adidas deal popped with a green checkmark. Claimed Doran’s. Equipped it straight from inventory – saw the boost stats instantly. Honestly? Felt more relieved than excited. Whole thing was tedious.
Lesson learned? It’s all about gaming that teammate grade system hard. Pass like crazy, set picks constantly. Skip all the fun stuff. Just grit your teeth and grind those quick games. Not glamorous, but it got me the gear.
