Alright, let me tell y’all about my experience with 7 on 7 flag football plays. I started off by getting a bunch of my buddies together. We were all hyped up to try out these so – called “best” plays that the experts recommended.

First, we had to get our gear on. I mean, we’re not pros, but we still needed those flags and some proper shoes. We headed to the local park where we usually play. It was a sunny day, and the grass was looking good.
We gathered in a circle and started discussing the plays. We had this sheet with the expert – recommended plays on it. The first play we tried was called the “Sling Shot”. I was the quarterback. I shouted out the signals, like I’ve seen in the movies. “Hut! Hut!”
I took the snap and looked for my receiver. The other guys were running their routes, trying to shake off their defenders. But man, it was harder than it looked. The defenders were quick, and they grabbed the flags of our receivers before I could even get the ball to them. We failed that play like three times in a row.
Then we moved on to the “Wheel Route”. This time, one of my friends was the quarterback. He was a bit more confident than me. He took the snap and fired the ball down the field. One of our receivers ran like crazy, doing that wheel – like motion. And guess what? He actually caught the ball! We all went crazy, high – fiving each other like we just won the Super Bowl.
After that success, we got more into it. We tried the “Flood” play. This one involved a bunch of receivers running different routes at the same time. It was like a chaos out there. The quarterback was looking around like a headless chicken, trying to figure out who to throw the ball to. In the end, we managed to complete the pass, but it was a close call.

We kept trying these plays for a few hours. Some worked, some didn’t. But the whole point was to have fun and learn. By the end of the day, we were all tired but super satisfied. We learned that even though the experts recommend these plays, it takes a lot of practice to actually make them work in a real – life game.
So, if you’re thinking about trying out these 7 on 7 flag football plays, go for it! Just be ready for some trial and error, and most importantly, have a blast with your friends.
