Alright, let me tell y’all how I built a team with Alvin Robertson in NBA 2K25. First off, I fired up the game. I was pretty hyped ’cause I knew getting Alvin on my team was gonna be a game – changer.

I started by going into the franchise mode. That’s where all the action is for building your own dream team. I scrolled through the menu screens, looking for the option to start a new franchise. Once I found it, I hit that button right away.
After creating my franchise, I had to set up my team’s basic stuff. I picked a cool team name and a sick logo. Then, it was time to get into the player – acquisition part. I went to the player search function. I typed in “Alvin Robertson” and there he was on the screen.
But just seeing him wasn’t enough. I had to figure out how to get him on my team. I checked his contract situation. Turns out, he was in the middle of a deal with another team. So, I had to come up with a trade plan. I started looking at my own team’s players. I picked a few guys who weren’t really pulling their weight and put them on the trade block.
I sent out a trade offer to the team that had Alvin. I included those under – performing players and some future draft picks. At first, they rejected it. I was like, “Come on, guys! This is a good deal!” So, I tweaked the offer a bit. I added one more young player with potential.
Finally, after a bit of back – and – forth, they accepted the trade. I was stoked! I immediately went to my team roster and there was Alvin Robertson, wearing my team’s jersey. I felt like a real – life GM.

Once he was on my team, I had to figure out how to fit him into the lineup. I watched some of his past games in the game’s archive to see his play style. I decided to put him in the starting lineup at the shooting guard position. He brought so much energy to the court right from the first game.
During the season, I also made sure to manage his minutes well. I didn’t want to over – work him. I used the in – game coaching tools to set up plays that would highlight his strengths, like his steals and fast – break abilities.
With Alvin on the team, we started winning more games. Our team chemistry improved a lot. We even made it to the playoffs that season. It was an amazing experience building a team around him, and I’m looking forward to more seasons with him on my squad.
