Alright, let me tell you about my experience in Call Lutheran football training and how I tried to improve my skills fast.

Call Lutheran football training: How to improve your skills fast?

At first, I was just a newbie, not knowing much about football. I signed up for the training, full of excitement and a bit of nervousness. When I first got on the field, I felt so small and inexperienced compared to those who seemed to know the ropes already. But I was determined to learn.

I started with the basic drills. The coach made us do a lot of running. I mean, a whole lot! We sprinted up and down the field, which was super tiring at the beginning. But I knew this was to build my stamina. And let me tell you, after a few days of this running torture, I could feel my legs getting stronger.

Then came the ball – handling part. I had to practice dribbling. It was harder than I thought. The ball just wouldn’t do what I wanted it to. Sometimes it would roll away when I tried to change directions. But I kept at it. I spent hours after the regular training sessions just dribbling around the field, trying different moves. I watched how the better players did it and tried to copy their techniques.

Passing was another challenge. I had to learn how to judge the distance and the strength needed to pass the ball accurately to my teammates. In the beginning, my passes were either too weak or too strong. But with practice, I started to get the hang of it. I remember one time during a scrimmage, I made a really good pass that led to a goal. That was such a great feeling!

When it came to shooting, I was really bad at first. I couldn’t seem to aim well. The coach gave me some tips, like keeping my eye on the goal and following through with my kick. I took his advice and practiced shooting at the goal over and over again. After many misses, I finally started to see some improvement. I could hit the target more often, and my shots were getting more powerful.

Defense was also a crucial part of the training. I had to learn how to tackle without fouling. It was a tricky balance. I often got knocked down myself while trying to make a tackle. But I kept trying, and slowly I learned how to position myself better and make more effective tackles.

Throughout the whole training process, I also learned the importance of teamwork. We had group discussions after each training session, where we would talk about what went well and what we needed to improve. I found that sharing ideas with my teammates really helped me see things from different perspectives.

After weeks of hard – work, I could really feel the difference in my skills. I was faster, more confident with the ball, and could contribute more to the team during games. It was all about putting in the effort and never giving up. If I can do it, anyone can!
