Well, I’ve always been a big fan of rugby, and I’ve been itching to find out how long a typical 7s rugby game is. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands and go to a 7s rugby tournament to figure it out.
I started by getting my tickets. I hopped on my computer, clicked around a bit on the ticketing website, and finally managed to snag a couple of good seats. Then, I made my way to the stadium. I drove there, parked my car, and walked through the gates all excited.
Once I was inside, I could feel the energy. People were cheering, vendors were selling snacks, it was a real party atmosphere. I found my seat and sat down, looking around at all the action on the field. The players were warming up, stretching their legs, and getting ready for the game.
The first game started, and I was glued to my seat. I watched as the players ran, tackled, and passed the ball. I was so into it that I almost forgot about my mission to find out how long the game was. But then, I remembered. I took out my phone and started timing the game.
As the game went on, I noticed that it was pretty fast – paced. The players were moving so quickly that it was hard to keep up. Before I knew it, the first half was over. I checked my phone, and it had been about 7 minutes. I was like, “Wow, that’s pretty short!”
The second half started, and it was just as exciting as the first. The players were giving it their all, and the crowd was going wild. And then, before I could blink, the game was over. I checked my phone again, and the total time for the game was about 14 minutes, plus a couple of minutes for halftime.
I was really surprised. I had always thought that a rugby game would be much longer. But after this experience, I realized that 7s rugby is a whole different ballgame. It’s fast, it’s exciting, and it’s over before you know it.
