Okay, based on what I found:
Athletic Club (likely):
- Goalie: Unai Simón – Solid, stays put mostly.
- Defence: Four across. Lekue and Yuri likely wide, Vivian and Paredes holding the middle. Pretty standard setup for them.

Got the likely names down, then started thinking about the battles:
- Nico Williams vs Tavernier: Nico’s speed, man. Crazy fast. But Tavernier bombs forward too… could leave space behind him.
- Sancet vs Lundstram: Sancet needs room to create. Lundstram’s job is to shut that kinda guy down. Big test.
- Iñaki vs Souttar/Goldson: If Iñaki plays through the middle, his power against their height. Physical stuff expected.
- Set Pieces: Oh yeah. Both teams have big players. Corners? Free kicks? Could decide it.
What’s Missing? Big Names Out
This part’s crucial. Found out Imanol García’s definitely out for Athletic. Bit of a blow for their bench. For Rangers, the main one still missing is Danilo. Means Dessers carries the weight up front mostly, maybe Roofe comes on later?
How I See It Going Down
Putting it all together… Athletic are tough at home. San Mamés gets loud. They press hard, run a lot. Rangers? Gonna soak up pressure, wait for mistakes, hit on the break especially with Sima’s pace. Tavernier taking long throws or free kicks is a weapon. Think it’ll be tight. Not many goals probably. My gut says it could be a 1-1 thing, decided by a set piece or maybe a moment of magic from Nico or Cantwell. Both teams won’t wanna lose this one early on.
