I jotted down a few notes on my notepad, things that caught my eye.
After that, I watched some highlights from recent games on YouTube. I wanted to see how the players were performing with my own eyes. I noticed that a few players were really on fire, scoring a lot of points and making great plays. I made mental notes of those players, thinking they might be good picks for the prizes.
Next, I looked at the odds. I went to a betting website (just to check the odds, not actually bet). I compared the odds for different games and players. If the odds for a player to score a lot of points were really high, it made me think twice. But if the odds were reasonable and the player had been performing well, I added them to my list of potential picks.
I also thought about the matchups. I considered which teams were playing against each other.
