I wanted to find out who the stars of Ashland High School football are. So, I started my little mission.
First, I headed over to the school. I walked into the football field area. There were a bunch of students running around, doing their warm – up exercises. I went up to the coach and was like, “Hey, coach! Can you tell me who the real stars of this team are?” The coach just grinned and said, “Well, you gotta watch ’em play to know for sure.”
So, I decided to stick around for a practice session. I sat on the bleachers and watched. There was this one guy, Jake. He was running like the wind. Every time he got the ball, he just zoomed past the other players. I was like, “Wow, this guy’s something else!”
Then there was Sarah. She was a real toughie on the field. She was blocking the other players left and right, not letting them get through easily. I thought to myself, “She’s definitely a star in the making.”
I also talked to some of the other students on the team. They told me about how hard these guys and girls work every day. They said Jake spends hours after school practicing his running, and Sarah does extra weight – training to get stronger.
After the practice, I went up to Jake and Sarah. I asked them what it felt like to be considered stars. Jake just shrugged and said, “It’s all about having fun and working hard.” Sarah nodded and said, “Yeah, and helping the team win.”
So, that’s my little adventure of finding out who the stars of Ashland High School football are. These kids are really something. They’re not just good at football; they’re also super dedicated. I’m sure they’ll do great things in the future!
