Well, I decided to give the Oklahoma City Thunder court in NBA 2K23 a shot. First off, I fired up the game and navigated through the menus to select the Thunder as my team. It was like going through a bunch of doors to get to the right room.

Once I got the team selected, I started a quick game. The moment the game loaded, I took a look around the court. The graphics were pretty decent, you know? The court layout looked just like the real – life Chesapeake Energy Arena. The seats were filled with virtual fans, and it felt kind of lively.
I dribbled the ball down the court, trying to get into the rhythm of the game. The controls were smooth, and I was able to make some basic moves easily. I passed the ball to my teammates, and they responded well. It was like we were a real – life team out there on the court.
As the game went on, I noticed that the lighting in the arena was set up nicely. It added to the whole atmosphere of the game. The sound effects were also on point. The crowd cheering, the ball bouncing, and the whistles from the refs all made it feel super real.
I tried some fancy moves, like crossovers and spin moves. And guess what? They worked! I was able to get past my defenders and get some good shots off. It was a lot of fun.
But, of course, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes, the AI of the opposing team was a bit too tough. They would steal the ball from me when I least expected it. And the game could get a bit laggy at times, which was kind of annoying.

After a long and intense game, I finally managed to win. It was a great feeling, like I had really achieved something. I sat back and thought about the whole experience.
So, was it worth playing? In my opinion, yeah, it was. The court in NBA 2K23 really captured the essence of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s home court. The gameplay was mostly enjoyable, even with a few glitches. If you’re a fan of the Thunder or just looking for a new court to play on in NBA 2K23, I’d say give it a go. You might just have a blast like I did!
